December 9th - Holiday Party - Eddie Keyse's house, 1743 Chandeleur Dr., San Pedro, CA 90732 December 16th - 12:10 pm - Regular meeting. Ante's Restaurant, 729 South Palos Verdes St., San Pedro, CA 90731. December 23rd - No Tri-club Meeting. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Meetings The November 18th Noon Meeting was held at Ante's Restaurant. Sharon Ventrice gave an interesting talk about P.A.M., Prayer Angels for the Military. Lions Wayne Bettis, Frank Colello and his wife, Isabel, Lauren Cotner and her mother, Paula Shea, Tom and Susan Dorsey, George Keens, David Staley, and Mike Weitzman attended. George Keens as Tail Twister took over for Gokjo and told a joke that raised large sum of money in lively bidding to permit and halt the telling of the joke. Lion Wayne Bettis put in a final bid that won the day and Lion George got to tell his joke. George managed to collect a total of $52 from the Lions present. Lion Lauren Cotner's mother, Paula Shea, won the 50/50 drawing and generously donated the money to Prayer Angels for the Military. The Holiday Season is a busy period, but don't forget to schedule time to attend meetings. If you missed the meeting, you missed a good time, good food, a wonderful talk and great fellowship. And, we missed seeing you! Entertainment Books The 2005 Entertainment Books are still on Sale NOW. Please Sell, Sell, and Sell. Cost $20 per book. Call Lion Ann at 310- 325-7102. We make a profit of $4 per book for our Charity Account. This is a very easy way to make some money with no physical work. Please do your part and help sell the books. If you cannot sell any books, then maybe you can buy books for yourself, family and friends. They make great Holiday gifts! Any help would be appreciated. The money earned goes to our Charities Account for The City of Hope. Please save all of your aluminum cans and plastic drink bottles. You can bring your cans and bottles to any meeting or contact Lion Susan Dorsey at 310-831-6245 and she will come pick them up.
