May 12th - 15th   - 4-L3 District Convention, Santa Maria Radisson Hotel, Santa Maria, CA.

May 12th  - 7:00 pm - Board meeting. Location TBA

Meeting Report

The April 21st noon meeting at Ante's Restaurant was a fun one, but unless you are in the photo, you missed sharing lunch and fellowship with your fellow Lions. Pictured from left to right are Lions Gojko Spralja, Vince Zabica, Mitch Young, Susan Dorsey, and Tom Dorsey.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting. Rumor has it that Lion Susan will be bringing a camera.

May Membership Meeting

The planned membership orientation and education meeting and dinner on May 5th has been postponed.
The new date will be announced here shortly.

April 28th Tri Club Meeting

George Cummings, Director of Homeland Security for the Port of Los Angeles will speak on how the Port is addressing the issue of Homeland Security in the Harbor Area at this weeks Tri Club Meeting on Thursday April 28th at Ante's Restaurant, 729 South Palos Verdes St., San Pedro, CA  90731. The meeting with the Harbor City/Lomita and Wilmington Lions Clubs will have a 6:30 pm Social and a 7:00 pm dinner.  

Don't miss this informative and timely talk on a subject that concerns everyone who lives in the Harbor Area.

Mr. and Miss San Pedro Contest

The Mr. & Miss San Pedro Scholarship Contest for teens and young adults has begun. The contest began April 11th   and will run through May 25th.

Baseball

The San Pedro Lions Club will be going to the game, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim on Friday evening, June 17th. We will see the Los Angeles Angels at Anaheim vs. Florida Marlins.  Tickets are $12. District Convention

The 4-L3 District Convention is almost here! It will be held on May 12th to 15th at the Santa Maria Radisson Hotel in beautiful Santa Maria, California.
