Meetings

The Tri Club Meeting was held on February 24th at Ante's Restaurant. A total of 25 Lions and guests from the Harbor City/Lomita, San Pedro, and Wilmington Lions Clubs attended.

Due to a last minute scheduling conflict, Councilwoman Janice Hahn was unable to attend. She sent her sincere apology and her Community Advocate Carolyn Brady - Sinco spoke in the Councilwoman's place. 

Carolyn Brady-Sinco did a great job and gave a very informative talk on developments and issues in the Wilmington, Harbor City/Harbor Gateway and San Pedro Areas. Her talk was followed by a lively question and answer period where Lions and their guests were able to present their observations and concerns and get any questions they had answered. 

Yolanda Sedillo, who is running for Honorary Mayor of San Pedro also attended and spoke briefly.

If you missed the meeting, you missed some great fun, fellowship and a very informative program and we missed you!


March Board Meeting

The March San Pedro Lions Club Board meeting will be held at Lion Wayne Bettis's Office, State Farm Insurance, 350 West 5th St., Suite 205, San Pedro, CA 90731. 
Any member of the San Pedro Lions Club is welcome to attend. We will be discussing some basic issues to plan for the future of the San Pedro Lions Club.

We will be addressing the meeting schedule, (including number of meetings per month, time and place), suggestions for programs, club activities, fund raising and finances, membership development, and any other aspects that members wish to discuss. 

Please plan to attend and give your input. All club members are encouraged to attend!

Questionnaire and Survey

A short questionnaire and survey for San Pedro Lions Club Members is in development and will be mailed to the members in the next few weeks. 
Lion George Keens has provided an excellent framework with questions for the survey.  Input from the upcoming March 10th Board Meeting will be used to help refine and finalize the questionnaire.
